Let aluminum cookware cool completely before washing. if water is added to a hot pan it can cause the cookware to warp. Never put aluminum cookware in the dishwasher, as this can discolouration, corrosion and pitting. Wash cookware in warm water with a mild detergent and a soft sponge or cloth. Using a brush, scrub pad, or metal utensil can cause damage to the surface of the pan. Always dry the cookware completely after washing to avoid limescale from forming.
If there is any food residue left on the pan, simply boil vinegar for a few minutes and then wash and dry as usual. For tougher cooked on stains you can also make a paste of baking soda and water, coat the pan and let it sit overnight. In the morning wash and dry the pan as usual.
