When it comes to custom fabrication, we offer unmatched craftsmanship, expertise, and experience through our Quest brand. We work with you to ensure your vision becomes a reality. At Quest, we produce a wide variety of stainless steel products for restaurants, health care institutes, recreational facilities and private homes. This includes high quality, durable, stainless steel ranges, broilers, fryers, food preparation stations, sinks and other equipment.
Each piece begins with a design. This will illustrate the function of the product and any other additional add-ons that may be required. This is the first step in developing an idea or shaping a concept. Our designers know what works and what doesn’t work in a commercial kitchen. Our designs go further than the dimensions of a range, salad table or cleaning station; they include all components of a foodservice establishment to ensure that efficiency and quality are met. We understand that no detail is too small to consider. If the plan calls for modifications, Quest will custom fit appliances, fixtures, counters, hoods, ventilation and fire suppression systems.
Custom fabrication encompasses a wide variety of stainless products. At Russell Hendrix, we have two manufacturing plants, one in Winnipeg and one in Vancouver. Our Winnipeg branch focuses primarily on foodservice equipment. Quest Vancouver works with direct sales to clients and residential customers to create products such as lab cabinetry, residential counters, custom exhaust hoods, and fabricated art pieces.
We also produce architectural fabrication which includes elevator entry trim, wall cladding, structural steel, and glass partition walls. We can design, build and install commercial kitchen grease exhaust systems amongst many other things. All of our products are designed with foodservice operators needs in mind. Our goal is to deliver unsurpassed performance, reliability and long term value.
Our Quest product line includes a wide selection of preparation, cooking, serving and ventilation equipment. We produce high-quality fryers, grills, exhaust filters and the first Canadian designed automatic wash ventilator system, Quest CleanAir.
With our computer-based equipment, we are able to produce innovative designs, computerized layouts, computer-controlled forming, precision laser cutting and quality assembly at cost-effective prices.
The CL-707′s arrival at Quest in 2007 changed the way we were able to work. Component parts for Quest appliances and fixtures are now made much more accurately and efficiently, producing less waste from each sheet of metal. On the production floor, the CL-707 transforms operations and Quest’s ability to service its customers.
The Cincinnati CL-707 3300W laser-cutting machine uses a Class IV laser controlled by a Windows operating system. It has a cutting capacity of up to ⅞” steel or ½” stainless steel and can handle a sheet size of up to 2 x 4 m (6’6″ x 13’0″) without repositioning. It has a dual pallet changer that allows for continuous cutting, and sheets move on a ball transfer system to protect the material. The PC based control features linear motors, guide bearings and encoders which combine to control movement and create accurate cutting to +_0.001″ per axis.
